A unique experience of inclusion and happiness for children and young people with disabilities and their families.
In the heart of the enchanting Aosta Valley, the vibrant atmosphere of inclusion and joy permeated TH La Thuile, thanks to the Hol4All project, promoted by the Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE. From March 20 to 24, our TH La Thuile was the stage for a wonderful experience: a holiday dedicated to children and young people with complex disabilities or rare diseases, together with their families.
Hol4All, acronym for “Holiday for All”, is a project launched for the first time in 2021, born from the meeting between families with children with disabilities and over 20 years of experience of the Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE. Hol4All is a tangible commitment to integration and social participation, embodying the health and well-being goals (Goal 3) and the reduction of inequalities (Goal 10) outlined by the United Nations for sustainable development.
The event offered a unique experience, designed to involve and regenerate every family member. Through a variety of tailored indoor and outdoor activities, such as fun pool sessions, cooking workshops with our chefs, and exciting snow adventures, families had the opportunity to recharge their energy and momentarily lighten the weight of their responsibilities.
But Hol4All is not just about fun. With a qualified staff composed of educators, psychologists, and doctors, the event provided a safe and inclusive environment where participants could grow, develop, and create meaningful bonds. The families involved found spontaneous mutual support, becoming part of a united community, at least for a few days.
Besides activities for children with disabilities, Hol4All also considered the well-being of parents, brothers, and sisters without disabilities, offering moments of relaxation and fun tailored to each family member.
Thanks to collaboration with local partners such as the Lymph Foundation and the Enjoyski Sport Association, Hol4All made it possible for many young people with disabilities to experience activities usually inaccessible, like skiing, opening the doors to a feeling of freedom. Furthermore, this edition of Hol4All had the privilege of hosting athletes from the Obiettivo3 project, supported by the Fondazione Allianz UMANA MENTE, with the hope of discovering future Paralympic champions.
