The Blue Flags have been awarded for 2024, the prestigious international recognition granted every year by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). In Italy, 236 locations, 81 tourist harbors, 236 municipalities for a total of 485 beaches have received the title.
Beaches that receive the Blue Flag are evaluated based on strict criteria including water cleanliness, environmental management, services offered, and environmental education. This quality mark is synonymous with excellence and represents a guarantee for tourists to find safe, well-maintained, and environmentally friendly beaches.
