The event, which will be held in the center of the village, in the famous Sisi Square, offers a historical re-enactment of the visit to Madonna di Campiglio by Princess Sissi and the entire Hapsburg Court, which took place at the end of the 1889th century. The story tells of a princess who, enchanted by the wonderful landscapes of the valley, visited for the first time in 1894, returns there with her consort, the Emperor Franz Joseph in XNUMX. Madonna di Campiglio and all of Trentino greeted with a big party the arrival of the royal couple, days of pomp and memorable events followed.
And it is precisely on the occasion of the carnival that a splendid historical re-enactment of ancient life at the imperial court is staged in Madonna di Campiglio, with a very rich program of events that will enchant adults and children: just to name a few, Monday 4 March will be held there re-enactment of the royal procession, the next day the Children's carnival closed in the evening from Imperial torchlight procession, on March 7 the imperial skiing.
