Marilleva is the ideal solution for a ski holiday for the whole family. Nestled in the heart of the Val di Sole, between the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the Stelvio National Park, and immersed in the Folgarida-Marilleva district, the largest ski area in all of Trentino, Marilleva is the privileged starting point of the Adamello Brenta ski area: from here you can reach Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo on skis, for a total of 150 km of slopes and 60 lifts.
The village TH Marilleva 1400, which has 252 simply furnished rooms, stands at an altitude of 1.400 metres, a short distance from Madonna di Campiglio and Passo del Tonale, and enjoys a privileged position: immersed in the woods and on the snowy slopes, so enthusiasts can go out directly on skis.
For lovers of the most practiced of winter sports, the structure offers the ski-inclusive package which includes 6 days of ski pass and 20 hours of group lessons with the instructors of the local ski school. The hotel has a new ski room, equipped with lockers with boot warmers and a ski rental service with offers that cover all requests: from top-of-the-range skis to those for taking your first steps on the snow.
In front of the village, there is a "first steps field" and lots of snow games for children who don't ski yet. For the age range from 3 to 5 years, the service TH Baby guarantees assistance and activities both on the snow and in the welcoming spaces of the TH Land. The little skiers (from 5 years old), on the other hand, are welcomed and prepared every day for the ski lessons by the kids from the TH Crew, and together they share lunch and dinner and many fun activities, so that parents can enjoy relaxing days in the snow. There is also the possibility to use the service infant club, the babysitting service for the 0-3 age range, which includes assistance for the little ones for a fee, both for a few hours and for the whole day from 9 to 17.
An organization designed down to the smallest detail to give unforgettable moments to the whole family.
In addition to skiing, Marilleva and the Val di Sole offer the possibility of walking with snowshoes and on horseback, along the paths of the Val di Rabbi with its hanging bridges. For shopaholics and gourmets, a tour of the villages in the valley will allow you to discover craft shops and many typical products.
Marilleva is therefore the ideal place to enjoy a ski holiday with the whole family. But how best to prepare yourself for a week on skis? Here are some simple tips:
- Athletic preparation. First of all, if you are sedentary, dedicate some time to training, because skiing and snowboarding use a lot of muscles and joints.
- Choose the track according to your preparation. Secondly, before jumping headlong, carefully choose the routes best suited to your physical preparation. The ski slopes are divided into three categories based on their difficulty: the blue ones are the easiest, the red ones are of medium difficulty and the black ones are normally reserved for more expert skiers.
- Equip yourself with suitable clothing. Finally, don't forget to equip yourself with suitable clothing, in the name of waterproofing, transpiration and thermal insulation. With two warnings: dress in layers and don't forget a hat (or helmet, mandatory for children up to 14 years of age), gloves and a good pair of socks.
