A unique experience of inclusion and happiness for children and young people with disabilities and their families.
In the heart of the suggestive Aosta Valley, the vibrant atmosphere of inclusion and joy has permeated the TH La Thuile, thanks to the project Hol4All, promoted by Allianz Foundation HUMAN MIND. From March 20th to 24th, our TH La Thuile was the stage for a wonderful experience: a holiday dedicated to children and young people with complex disabilities or rare diseases, together with their families.
Hol4All, acronym for “Holiday for All”, is a project launched for the first time in 2021, born from the meeting between families with children with disabilities and the over 20 years of experience of the Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation. Hol4all is un tangible commitment towards integration and social participation, embodying the goals of health and well-being (Goal 3) and the reduction of inequalities (Goal 10) outlined by the United Nations for sustainable development.
The event offered aunique attendee experience, designed for involve and regenerate every member of the family. Through a variety of tailor-made indoor and outdoor activities, such as fun pool sessions, cooking workshops with our chefs and exciting snow adventures, families had the opportunity to recharge their energies and momentarily lighten the burden of their responsibilities .
But Hol4All isn't just about fun. With a qualified staff of educators, psychologists and doctors, the event provided a safe and inclusive environment where participants were able to grow, develop and create meaningful connections. The families involved found spontaneous mutual support, becoming part of a united community, at least for a few days.
In addition to activities aimed at children with disabilities, Hol4All has also thought about the well-being of parents, brothers and sisters without disabilities, offering moments of relaxation and fun tailored to each member of the family.
Thanks to the collaboration with local partners such as Lymph Foundation andEnjoyski Sport Association, Hol4All has made it possible for many children with disabilities to experiment with activities that are usually inaccessible, such as skiing, opening the doors to a feeling of freedom. Furthermore, this edition of Hol4All also had the privilege of hosting the project's athletes Objective 3, supported by the Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation, with the hope of discovering future Paralympic champions.
