TH Resorts Appoints Alberto Peroglio Longhin as New CEO

TH Resorts, part of the Hotelturist tourism group, has announced the Appointment of Alberto Peroglio Longhin as new CEO. The company, equally owned by Solfin and CDP Equity at 46% and by ISA for the remaining 8%, is a leader in the hospitality sector in Italy with the TH Resorts brand. Peroglio Longhin succeeds Giuliano Gaiba, who led the company in a phase of significant growth, successfully addressing the challenges posed by the post-pandemic tourism market.

With over thirty years of experience, Peroglio Longhin has worked in leading companies in the tourism and hospitality sector, demonstrating a strong ability to guide companies through phases of expansion and change. He was first Central Director of the Alpitour Group, then he led Parmatour in extraordinary administration, followed by Parma Calcio. He then held the top role in the Tourism Development Agency of Rome and Lazio and in Eatinerari, the tour operator of the Eataly Group. He was also CEO of Bluvacanze, Combo, and Edit. At the same time, he worked as an advisor for Destination Italia, Barceló Viajes and AT Kearney, providing his strategic contribution to various corporate initiatives.

Graziano Debellini, President of TH Resorts, expressed great confidence in the new CEO, underlining how his appointment represents a strategic step towards the goal of further strengthening the group's presence in the Italian market. "We are certain that, under his guidance, the company will be able to seize the new opportunities offered by changes in the sector and successfully continue on the path of innovation that we have traced," said Debellini.

In recent years, TH Resorts has embarked on an ambitious growth path, increasing its acquisitions and expanding its presence in mountain, beach and urban destinations. In addition, the group has committed to sustainability projects, achieving a completely green energy supply and obtaining the ESG rating for all its facilities, an achievement that demonstrates its commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.

The new CEO Alberto Peroglio Longhin stated that he is excited to contribute to this journey, reiterating his intention to focus on innovation and operational efficiency to maintain TH Resorts as a point of reference in the hospitality sector.

“I will work with the team to strengthen our competitiveness and achieve the ambitious growth objectives we have set ourselves, focusing on innovation and operational efficiency with the aim of consolidating our leadership in the mountains, our positioning on the sea product and our vocation to innovate for the urban sector”.

During the Shareholders' Meeting, the new Board of Directors was also appointed, which will be composed of: Graziano Debellini (President), Alberto Peroglio Longhin (designated CEO), Maria Debellini (Vice President), Andrea Alghisi, Francesco Formica, Giorgio Franceschi, Ivano Ortelli, Giovanni Raimondi and Gianluca Santi.
